Ammonia synthesis technology

Topsoe has signed a contract for the supply of ammonia synthesis technology for Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers. The ammonia synthesis loop will be part of the Collie Urea Project located in Western Australia which will transform coal into 6,200 tons of urea per day.

The plant will have a single-line capacity of more than 3,500 tonnes ammonia per day and will thus be the world's largest ammonia plant.
