Diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs)

Oxidation catalyst for diesel engines for use in combination with a particulate filter, with or without the addition of SCR.

The DOC catalyst features

• very stable at the high exhaust temperatures arising when diesel is injected for particulate trap regeneration 
• NO₂ oxidation in order to enhance the low temperature performance over a zeolitic catalyst 
• high CO and HC oxidation activity 

The DOC may be applied in combination with the non-vanadium SCR catalyst to increase performance at low temperatures.
