Topsoe offers two heat exchange reforming systems depending on plant application:

• the Haldor Topsoe Exchange Reformer (HTER) for ammonia, methanol and hydrogen production
• the Haldor Topsoe Convection Reformer (HTCR) for hydrogen production

The reformers are characterised by being very compact and by a high degree of internal heat recovery, making them highly efficient. The reformers are well suited in grassroot plants as well as a revamp option.

A range of catalysts designed for the reforming processes provide optimal plant performance.
