In India, Topsoe has recently obtained a contract for a new 200 MTPD formaldehyde plant to be set up for Jubilant Organosys Ltd.. Topsoe's scope of supply includes license, basic engineering and catalysts.

In China, Sichuan Tianhua Co. Ltd. has signed a contract for a new 200 MTPD formaldehyde plant. Scope of supply will include license, engineering, catalysts and critical equipment.

The projects are scheduled for completion at the end of 2004/beginning of 2005. Both plants will utilize the unique energy saving Topsoe Formaldehyde SR Process® with two formaldehyde reactors operating in series.
