Topsoe will supply hydrogen technology and catalysts for a new hydrogen plant in Italy. The plant will be owned and operated by alliance partner, Air Liquide. 20,000 Nm3/h of high purity hydrogen will be supplied over-the-fence to ERG, as well as to other customers in the industrial basin of Priolo, and it will be used to improve gasoline and diesel quality. The plant, which will be based on Topsoe's steam reforming technology, is the 10th European hydrogen plant awarded to Topsoe over the last four years.

The Alliance

Air Liquide (Paris, France) and Topsoe have a strategic alliance to the effect that Air Liquide will utilise Topsoe technologies in plants to supply hydrogen, carbon monoxide and syngas to its worldwide customers. Air Liquide will own, operate and maintain the plants and will utilise its own and other technologies for separation and purification of the final products.
