Topsoe has recently been awarded a contract for the supply of license, engineering, catalysts, and critical equipment for two 100,000 Nm3/hr hydrogen plants for PetroChina Company Limited’s Dalian Petrochemical Company.

The hydrogen units will be part of a major expansion of PetroChina's refinery capacity in Dalian, P. R. China, and the hydrogen product will be used for the production of high-quality transportation fuels.

Within the past year, similar size hydrogen plant activities count one hydrogen unit at Chevron's refinery at El Segundo CA, USA, two units for Indian Oil Company Ltd. at Panipat, India, and one for Air Liquide in Antwerp, Belgium.
