Haldor Topsoe A/S has won a contract for supply of license, engineering design, catalyst and critical equipment to Ningxia Petrochemical Co. of PetroChina Co. Ltd for revamping of their ammonia plant in Ningxia Hui Autonomic Region.

The ammonia plant capacity will be increased from the original design capacity of 907 MTPD ammonia to 1500 MTPD ammonia. Topsoe’s prereforming technology will be a key element in the revamp project.

Topsoe is a world-leading supplier of technology and catalyst for the fertilizer industry and has provided solutions for ammonia plants in P.R. China for more than 25 years.
