Topsoe has been awarded a contract for a new 110 MMSCFD hydrogen plant which will be part of the new Resid Hydrodesulphurisation Unit which SK Corporation will build in Ulsan, Korea adding to the existing refinery.

This unit will be SK’s third hydrogen plant based on Topsoe technology.

The new unit will as the two previous units supplied to SK operate on multiple feedstocks and be based on Topsoe’s advanced steam reformer technology, featuring prereformer, radiant-wall reformer design, high reformer outlet temperature and medium shift system.
