Science Perspective on green gold catalysis

In a perspective published in one the world's most prestigeous journals, Science, Vice President, Professor Claus Hviid Christensen together with Professor Jens K. Nørskov from Technical University of Denmark outlines how gold catalysis might play an important role in advancing the use of green oxidation reactions in industrial processes.

Especially in the development of new processes that rely on renewable resources such green catalytic oxidations are envisaged to be important for producing bio-based chemicals efficiently with environmentally friendly technology.
