There are several routes to achieve Euro VI emission levels. For most heavy duty diesel applications, a low temperature regenerated DPF in combination with a vanadium-based SCR is an optimal solution both in terms of performance, initial cost and total cost of ownership. The unique transient response and robustness of DNXR makes it an ideal candidate also for advanced Euro VI and non-road systems.
The DNXR catalyst is based on vanadium, embedded in our own unique corrugated ceramic substrate. The DNXR catalyst has proven robust and reliable under harsh conditions, including usage with high-sulfur diesel fuel as well as in advanced Euro VI systems.
The basis of optimal performance
The backbone of the DNXR catalyst is our own proprietary substrate, produced in-house. The substrate is a corrugated ceramic substrate based on TiO2, and the catalyst is of the full-body type. This means that the substrate wall itself is made of catalytically active materials. This allows the DNXR catalyst to have superior NOx conversion and excellent response to temperature transients.

The DNXR and DNXS Family
The DNXR catalysts are available in several versions that meet demands for long-term operation at elevated temperatures or superior performance at low temperatures, depending on the requirements of the application. The DNXR can also be supplied with an end zone coating for ammonia slip reduction (ASC) called DNXS. The optimal combination of a vanadium SCR catalyst and ASC also lowers N2O emissions and hence is well-prepared for future legislations
The DNXR and DNXS are produced in fully automated plants according to superior standards TS16949 and ISO 14000 and used by several global truck manufacturers.
