Purpose of role (accountability)

•Ensure delivery of high-value breakthrough projects each year

•Support line of business in breakthrough project selection

•Ensure adherence to Breakthrough project model in selected function

•Support the identification of initiatives that contribute to business process improvement  

•Coach selected GS Lean ambassadors in BTP model execution

•Coach and develop GS Lean ambassadors in lean principles

•Implement systematic lean outside of breakthrough project methodology

•Support line of business in ad hoc troubleshooting and problem solving

•Develop and deliver structured training to cross functional leadership groups.

•Develop and document GSPS standard tool box

     Deliverables/KPIs

   •Project value. Support projects to achieve cost savings of ~10 mDKK/year

    •Lean skills assessment. Develop individual Lean competencies of GS Lean ambassadors

    •Support and drive execution of high-value breakthrough projects each year

    •Develop and capture improvements to standard GSPS tool box

    •Implementation of medium to long term systematic lean and ways of working that enable Visualisation, Problem solving and standardisation.

    •Deliver ad hock support to line of business to troubleshoot based on business need

  Required Competencies

•A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role with a strong emphasis on lean principles

•Expertise in the field of lean principles systems and tools

•Strong communicator

•Ability to coach and teach

•Excellent in constructive feedback

•Process knowledge from line of business

•A genuine interest and capability to develop people and teams

•A desire to develop yourself and transfer learning to others
