    Who we’re looking for
    We are looking for a piping engineer who is deadline and solution-oriented and has an eye for detail. 

    You will be working at India office associated with the Global Mechanical Department –in Global Supply.

    By doing so, you will have the opportunity to explore the world of Topsoe's many complex technologies and work on a range of interdisciplinary projects.

     

    The Mechanical Department is a global team of 100+ highly professional dedicated mechanical engineers, specialists and technical designers.

    We believe in a high degree of knowledge sharing and involvement of all expert fields in our projects.

     

    This means, that you will:

    • Execute various piping design work such as Basic Engineering, Detail engineering of Modular plants which are located all the world.
    • Produce 3D piping model and participate in reviews (30%, 60% and 90% model completion)
    • Review supplier, contractor and client documents, drawings and specifications as well as inspection at fabrication workshops.
    • Produce plot plans for proposals, study and contracts.
    • Do calculations, prepare piping/valve material datasheets and specifications.
    • Do design of critical piping for grassroot and revamp plants - including stress analysis.
    • Perform supervision of site installations on a global platform.
    • Attend meetings with suppliers, contractors as well as clients.

     

    What you’ll bring
    You are detail-oriented and goal-oriented. As a specialist, you understand the importance of ensuring that advanced mechanical projects, like ours, function flawlessly. Simultaneously, you possess the ability to efficiently complete tasks and meet our customers' deadlines. You are driven and curious, always seeking opportunities to improve designs, workflows, and products to meet future demands.

     

    In addition to the above, it is important to us that you:

    • Hold a first class B.Tech degree in mechanical engineering from reputed national institutes with a consistently excellent academic record.
    • 5-10 years of relevant experience in Mechanical design of piping and plant layout.
    • Have knowledge about stress analysis of piping, piping design for plant, piping material specifications, establishing plot plan and process plant layout.
    • Possess good knowledge of mechanical design tools i.e. AutoCAD Plant 3D or other 3D plant design tool, AutoPIPE, Caesar, AutoCAD mechanical, Navisworks or Smart plant review, Autodesk Inventor 3D.
    • Knowledge of materials, fabrication and testing methods.
    • Well versed with national and international codes and standards i.e. ASME, API, TEMA

     

     

     

    It would be advantageous if you:

    • Have relevant work experience with stress analysis of piping.
    • Have relevant work experience with modular plants.
    • Have work experience with rotary equipment.
