    Head of Clean fuels Technical Service

    We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to take on the pivotal role of leading our EU+ Clean Fuels Technical Sales and Service team, which is composed of approximately 10 highly skilled engineers. In this critical position, you will lead the technical proposal work as well as aftersales service to EU clean fuels customers. You will be part of the EMEA leadership team and will report directly to the Managing Director of EMEA. Your leadership will guide a team of world-class specialists who possess deep expertise in catalysts and catalyst processes. You will engage closely with a variety of stakeholders, including customers, regional sales teams, research and development (R&D) units, as well as global service teams, ensuring that our technical sales and service objectives are met with excellence.

    We are looking for a candidate who:

    • Is deeply passionate about leading and mentoring a team of highly experienced and technically specialized individuals, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration
    • Has the capability to drive high-impact initiatives that support and optimize the execution of technical sales and service, ensuring that our customers receive unparalleled support
    • Actively fosters a culture of knowledge-sharing within the team, ensuring that the right structures and processes are in place to facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members
    • Takes responsibility for ensuring and managing the relevant training and skill development of the Technical Sales and Service engineers, enhancing their capabilities and performance.

     

    What you’ll bring

    • A degree in Chemical Engineering, complemented by a minimum of 5 years of experience in the refinery industry, with a strong preference for expertise in hydroprocessing
    • While relevant leadership training is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement for this role
    • Excellent intercultural communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities and a high proficiency in English, are essential for success in this position
    • A team player mindset, demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common objectives and targets
    • The capacity to think strategically while also being able to engage in operational tasks effectively.
