Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a new colleague for our Global Logistics team at Topsoe consisting of 14 colleagues in Denmark, where you will be working, 7 in the US and 1 in China, all with great experience within Logistics. The position is a maternity cover for the period from 1 August 2023 until 31 July 2024.


You will play a key role in ensuring reliable deliveries of high-quality products at a matching service level to our customers worldwide. You take ownership for the full order cycle and for organizing shipments at optimal time and cost by sea and road (and by exception air) to meet our delivery performance goals. You get the opportunity to engage directly with a wide range of stakeholders both internally across functions and externally with customers and vendors, with whom you build trustful relations by meeting them with a positive mindset as well as clear and timely communication.


What you’ll bring
To fill the role, you need +5 years of practical experience from similar positions preferably within international production or freight forwarding companies. Any relevant vocational education within logistics/supply chain such as an AP degree or equivalent, including dangerous goods certification is an advantage. You are able to handle all the core tasks related to the role including documents and import/export declaration. If you have special experience with bonded warehouse and/or inward processing, this could also be an advantage.


In addition to this, you’ll bring the following skills and competencies:

  • LEAN mindset
  • Focused and result oriented
  • Ability and flexibility to plan and execute multiple tasks of varying complexity 
  • Structured with respect for details
  • Proactive approach and taking initiative
  • Experience with SAP or other similar ERP system
  • English proficiency (both oral and written) and in addition oral Danish would be an advantage.
