Who we’re looking for
We are now looking for a student assistant to be part of our Service Excellence Team. You will be part of a dynamic team of highly skilled engineers and we are counting on you to help us with programming, data processing, and a variety of other tasks.


To succeed in the role, you are IT savvy, and you are eager to bring new ideas to the table, helping us improve workflows and develop digital tools. You are detail oriented, set high standards and consistently meet and surpass them. You have a passion for new technologies and programming, combined with some understanding of industrial chemical processes. We are looking for a person that can support the group with VBA competences, and ideally also some other open source programming languages (Python), and knowledge of databases.


We expect you to work around 10-15 hours weekly - possibly more during summer breaks and we are of course flexible during exam periods.


Your responsibilities 

  • Developing and maintaining calculation tools and databases primarily in Excel including macros and VBA-code
  • Support with digitalization, standardization and automation processes, and also some routine tasks on a need basis
  • Bring new ideas about how we can improve our workflows and develop new tools to support our daily work, this could include using other programming languages and digital technologies.

Our ideal candidate will be a fast and eager learner, capable of quickly absorbing new information and applying it effectively. A commitment to delivering high quality work is essential, with attention to detail that ensures all tasks are completed to the highest standard. Furthermore, excellent communication skills are key, with fluency in both spoken and written English to facilitate clear and effective interactions within our diverse team.
