Senior Legal Counsel

Topsoe is looking for a skilled and experienced senior legal counsel to join our legal team supporting Power-to-X and R&D.

Who we’re looking for 
Your main focus will be to provide legal advice and support to Topsoe’s Power-to-X and play a key role as a sparring partner in order to commercialize our green solutions.


Your primary work will be with international contracts for supply and services of our Power-to-X solutions, so experience with FIDIC or similar types of contracts is an advantage. You will also be working with contracts to secure our supply chain.


You will also be working on a wide range of other tasks within our legal area such as partnership agreement, collaboration agreements, financial and strategic investments as well as joint development agreements.


You will be collaborating with many stakeholders – both technical, strategic, and commercial and provide legal- and contract training to the organization.


You should expect some travelling as part of the job.

Global Legal is an international team of fourteen lawyers located in Denmark, USA, and China. Global Legal is part of Global Legal Affairs also including Topsoe’s departments for Corp. Compliance & Governance and Intellectual Property.


What you’ll bring
You hold a MA Law degree, cand. merc. (jur.) or similar and have experience from an international law firm. In-house experience within green energy is an advantage. Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing is required.


You thrive in a dynamic and international working environment, where you will work closely with the business on complex projects identifying risks and devising practical, business-oriented solutions to mitigate such risks.


It is expected that you are comfortable in presenting and explaining complex issues in a clear and concise way to colleagues throughout the business.
