New opportunity in our Digital Service Transformation Department
Haldor Topsoe has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become recognized as the global leader in carbon emission reduction technologies by 2024.
We are now looking for a student assistant to be part of our Digital Service Transformation Team. You will be part of a small, dynamic team of highly skilled engineers and we are counting on you to help us with programming and data processing, and a variety of other tasks.
To succeed in the role, you are IT savvy and you are eager to bring new ideas to the table, helping us improve workflows and develop digital tools. You are detail oriented, set high standards and consistently meet and surpass them.
We expect you to work around 10 hours weekly - possibly more during summer breaks and we are of course flexible during exam periods.
- Developing and maintaining calculation tools and databases primarily in Excel including macros and VBA-code
- Support with digitalization, standardization and automation processes, and also some routine tasks on a need basis
- Bring new ideas about how we can improve our workflows and develop new tools to support our daily work, this could include using other programming languages and digital technologies.

- an excellent communicator, fluent in spoken and written English.
You have a passion for new technologies and programming, combined with some understanding of industrial chemical processes. We are looking for a person that can support the group with VBA competences, and ideally also some other open source programming languages (Python), and knowledge of databases.
Your main goal will be to focus on data, standardization and automation of tasks, and we want to hear your ideas!
