Being a Demand Planner in Topsoe is about committing to your craft and seeking to be the best. Dedicating the time to dig deep into the concepts of S&OP and the importance to ensure right balance between market demand and ensuring the right levels of demand is sent to supply planning – including the right technologies.

In Global supply chain planning we play an important role in the implementation of Topsoes new journey, and the transformation of our company. As our Demand Planner you own the demand plan for our technology business and will ensure transparency of the requirement and imbalances through the monthly process. You will be responsible and a key player in securing global standards and robust processes for demand planning and to lift up the demand planning to its next level.
You will act as the critical link between the operations, procurement and commercial and will also play an active role in the implementation of a solution in how to create even more transparency in the planning. A non-exhaustive list of tasks could look like this:
We are offering an attractive position as Demand Planner with responsibility for developing, executing and design the demand planning processes within Topsoe.
What you’ll bring
The right attitude is not enough to apply; you need 1-3 years of practical experience working with demand planning and/or other supply chain planning process landscapes within a process industry and/or technology-service environment. Experience of and a demonstrated ability to implement, execute and improve “good” operational and tactical processes are prerequisites. You need to have knowledge of a S&OP cycle, demand & supply planning of either technology projects, finished goods and/or raw materials.
You understand the interconnectivity between commercial and operations processes and have proficiency in Sales Force, SAP, Business Warehouse, excel and power point.
You need to be structured, with a high level of analytical understanding and high degree of detail insight. You are dynamic in your approach, not afraid of setting the scene and have good communication skills and can manage cross-functional in the organization.
