Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a Process Development Engineer for our R&D eChemicals and Synthesis Technology department. Here, you will join a team working with cutting-edge solutions within Power-to-X and carbon emission reduction technologies for production of for example ammonia, methanol, and synthetic fuels involving electrolysis and/or electric reactors.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the entire organization and engineering disciplines to development the next generation of Power-to-X technologies, optimize existing technologies and to resolve issues/problems.

We are looking for a new colleague with interest in:

• Conceptual development and simulation of existing and new Power-to-X processes and layouts
• Preparation of process flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams
• Design and optimization of control philosophy, process equipment and materials specifications
• Planning, execution, and analysis of pilot plant experiments with new technologies
• Operational support and data analysis related to demonstration plants at client or partner site 
• Supporting technology specialists in executing development plans
• Cross-functional collaboration with other engineering disciplines such as mechanical, cost estimation, electrical and instrumental
• Optimization of existing processes
• Handling of technical queries.

What you’ll bring
You have a degree in chemical engineering or equivalent with a strong background in process technology and chemical reaction engineering, and potentially some years of experience from a similar function in the process industry or the oil & gas industry.
