With projects going on all over the globe, managing equipment needs, negotiating with suppliers, overseeing deliveries, and securing that product standards are met is no small feat.

Well, if you think you have what it takes, you can put those skills to the test in a global industry leader in technologies to produce clean transportation fuels as well as ammonia, methanol, and hydrogen - come and be a part of our exciting journey. We are in the midst of a green transition and are growing fast into the exciting world of green and carbon emission reduction technologies.

Support our push for a cleaner, greener future

We are going to be the industry leaders in carbon emissions reduction by 2024. It’s an ambitious goal, we know, but high ambitions are absolutely critical right now. For us to reach our goal, we need employees who wish to drive that change. As our senior lead buyer, your hard work will go towards procuring all of the customized technical equipment needed for a multitude of international projects focused among other on this climate objective.

From our headquarters in Kongens Lyngby, you will be part of our Project Procurement department consisting of 15 employees, a subsection of Global Procurement, which operates at a budget of approximately 750 million DKK every year.

No two days are quite the same

Your job is centred around procurement, and you will be working in a matrix organisation on various projects together with a dedicated project team. Whatever technical equipment is needed in our commercial projects, you’re the one acquiring it.

Different projects mean different technical requirements and budgets, unique processes and challenges. As such, you can expect an unpredictable and dynamic workday, which will keep you on your toes.

Across your various project assignments, you can expect to be:

  • Involved in various commercial projects with focus on cost and delivery time
  • Involved in procurement planning and reading contracts
  • Forwarding request for quotation, negotiating deals and placing orders for equipment
  • Follow up on deliveries and fixing potential issues related to it
  • Visiting suppliers and keeping a good collaboration.

Are you our ideal candidate?

Working across various projects with different project operations teams and suppliers requires good communication skills and teamworking abilities. A keen understanding of project processes and experience with project work is therefore a huge advantage.

As to the formalities, we expect that you:

  • have a business degree within procurement or something similar, preferably with a technical background
  • have 3-5 years of experience within sales from a regional or international organisation
  • are skilled in using SAP and eSourcing
  • speak fluent English as this is our corporate language.

Do you have what it takes to take charge and ensure the timely order and delivery of equipment to projects all over the globe? Then we look forward to hearing from you. Please make sure to submit your resumé and application, no later than October 26, 2021.
