Who we’re looking for

We are looking for the right person to take ownership of our upcoming test center in Hørsholm. It will be established in an existing building, and you will follow the project as the recipient, including ensuring the adaptation of the building and utility systems before they are put into use. We have ordered the test rigs for the center, but you will need to recruit employees to commission and subsequently operate the rigs.

For the above, you will be supported by R&D operations. We commission and perform tests on rigs for our internal customers in the Power-to-X development projects and operate our existing test center in Kgs. Lyngby. Therefore, you will have a broad interface with stakeholders across our organization. 

Safety is our priority in every task, and you are required to set an example for following our policies in the work area, such as work permits, risk assessment, and so on. Together with your colleagues, you will continuously develop the way we work, and ensure that it is anchored and adopted in your area.

You will spend most of your time at your new test center, but you will also be present at our headquarters in Kgs. Lyngby in connection with meeting activities, courses, and similar events. 

What you’ll bring
We often speak Danish in everyday life, but the corporate language is English. It is therefore important that you master both languages orally and in writing. We imagine that you have:

• Experience with management within a similar industry, possibly supplemented by relevant further education
• Demonstrated leadership skills based on empathy and the ability to create and maintain a work atmosphere with trust and respect
• Experience with commissioning of plants, preferably in a laboratory or pilot scale
• A background as a generalist, possibly educated as a chemical engineer or marine engineer. Knowledge of electrical engineering, automation, technical regulations, HVAC, water systems, and steam is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build good cooperation with other departments and team members
• A good understanding of safety procedures and the ability to contribute to a good safety culture
• The ability to navigate in a complex organization and work effectively with different stakeholders and teams
• Analytical thinking and the ability to solve problems and make decisions based on data and analysis
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing requirements and deadlines in a busy environment
• Strong IT skills and experience with using laboratory equipment and software.
