Topsoe partners with the National Children’s Museum for a free Day of Discovery

• Topsoe’s contribution will support a free Day of Discovery for local families at the National Children’s Museum in Washington D.C.
• The Day of Discovery will showcase the transformative power of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) through a variety of engaging activities and interactive programs
  
  

Topsoe, a leading global provider of advanced technology and solutions for the energy transition, today announced a donation to the National Children’s Museum in Washington D.C. The donation will enable a special community day on November 8, 2025, at the museum in celebration of National STEM Day. Thanks to Topsoe’s support, families across the Washington, D.C., region will be welcomed to the museum free of charge.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics in 2024, there were over 10.5 million people employed in STEM occupations in the U.S. The Bureau estimates that by 2034, that number will rise to over 11.5 million STEM employees.[1] This growth is primarily attributed to technological advancements such as AI and digital transformation within the private and public sectors.

Day of Discovery
The Day of Discovery will showcase the transformative power of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) through a variety of engaging activities and interactive programs. Families will have the opportunity to experiment with renewable energy projects, learn about the science behind clean energy, and explore hands-on exhibits designed to ignite curiosity and creativity in young minds.
