Start-up - Hydroprocessing units

This learning path, focusing on hydroprocessing units, will help you prepare and execute your start-ups more efficiently and safely. It covers the procedures both for conventional hydroprocessing units and units processing renewable feedstocks. 

This learning path awards a certificate once completed and consists of 4 courses, each of which will cover a different part of the start up in the unit, focusing on the prerequisites and the procedure for each step:

• Start-up preparation fundamentals and prerequisites
• Low-pressure (LP) loop preparation
• High-pressure (HP) loop preparation
• Introduction of oil and catalyst flushing

Each course consists of 5-10 lessons and a summary exam. Expected time to complete is approximately 60 minutes per course.
