A prereduced alkali promoted steam reforming catalyst.

Application

The RK-600R TITAN™ is a prereduced alkali promoted steam reforming catalyst with a carrier based on the robust hibonite calcium aluminate phase. A loading of RK-600R TITAN™ & RK-600 TITAN™ can be used for reforming of heavier feedstocks such as LPG and naphtha.

Stable activity

The hibonite-based RK-600R TITAN™ features unmatched mechanical stability across the entire reforming temperature range. The addition of TiO2 and the development of novel impregnation techniques have resulted in a high-performance catalyst that is more stable towards sintering than competing calcium aluminate products. The incorporation of an alkali reservoir in the catalyst ensures that sufficient alkali is present to avoid carbon formation and at the same time ensuring high catalyst activity during an extended catalyst lifetime.
