Topsoe appoints Yassir Ghiyati as new Chief Commercial Officer

Topsoe, a leading global provider of advanced technology and solutions for the energy transition, has announced a change to its Senior Leadership Team.

Yassir Ghiyati has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Topsoe effectively immediately. In his role as CCO, he will be part of Topsoe’s Senior Leadership Team. 

Yassir will be responsible for the company’s core commercial offerings across global markets. This includes some of Topsoe’s most successful and innovative technologies, such as HydroFlex®, WSA^TM, eREACT^TM and SynCOR^TM, as well as the company’s catalyst business.

The appointment follows the announcement on 7 January 2026 that Elena Scaltritti, Topsoe’s former CCO, will step into the role of CEO of Topsoe effective 1 June 2026, succeeding Roeland Baan.

Yassir has been with Topsoe since 2005 and brings more than 20 years of experience across engineering, sales and leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Managing Director for the EMEA region. He holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
