    High-performance silicon guard catalyst

    TK-467 SiliconTrap™ is designed for first-stage coker naphtha hydrotreating and offers refineries outstanding silicon capture and reliable sulfur and nitrogen removal.

    TK-467 SiliconTrap™ combines a medium HDS/HDN NiMo formulation with advanced preparation technology to deliver a higher alumina surface area, enabling exceptional silicon pick-up per volume and outstanding sulfur and nitrogen removal over earlier generations.

    TK-467 SiliconTrap™ enables refineries to extend unit cycle length, process a more severe feedstock and increase the reliability of downstream units, such as reforming and isomerization.

    The medium hydrodesulfurization (HDS) and hydrodenitrogenation (HDN) activity of TK-467 SiliconTrap enables safe and stable operations.

    The TK-400 SiliconTrap™ catalysts series have played a key role in the coker naphtha market for more than 25 years. The new-generation TK-461 SiliconTrap™ and TK-467 SiliconTrap™ catalysts were launched in late 2024, offering a further increased surface area per volume.
