    Headline:
Senior SAP Security Specialist – Shape Secure Access for the Future of SAP S/4HANA and the SAP Business Technology Platform

    Role and impact:
As an experienced SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Authorization and Security Specialist, you will lead and further develop secure authorization, identity, and access frameworks across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAP BTP. This role is critical to enabling the secure adoption of modern SAP technologies while ensuring scalable access controls, regulatory compliance, and security by design across our enterprise SAP landscape.

    In this role, you will:

    - Design, implement, and continuously improve SAP authorization concepts, business roles, and access models across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAP BTP.
    - Lead the ongoing implementation and governance of SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS).
    - Manage the full user lifecycle, including role mapping, provisioning, and de-provisioning across hybrid SAP landscapes.
    - Configure and govern Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), trust configurations, and integration with enterprise identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory).
    - Define and enforce security standards across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, APIs, integrations, and emerging SAP services.
    - Drive segregation of duties, access risk analysis, control testing, external audit readiness, and periodic access reviews across SAP platforms.
    - Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), internal security policies, and enterprise control frameworks relevant to SAP environments.
    - Support and coordinate the audit lifecycle for SAP access and security controls, including evidence collection, control execution, remediation follow-up, and collaboration with internal and external auditors.
    - Enable the secure use of SAP Fiori, embedded analytics, and SAP BTP services through modern authorization and authentication approaches.
    - Support the secure adoption of AI-enabled SAP services and BTP-based extensions, including controlled access to APIs, data, and platform resources.
    - Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and functional teams to embed security by design into SAP transformation and innovation initiatives.
    - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve authorization, authentication, provisioning, and access-related issues across SAP environments, ensuring stable and secure run operations.
    - Establish and further develop governance standards, documentation, naming conventions, testing approaches, and operational runbooks to support sustainable delivery.
    - Drive the ongoing evolution of security controls, role design, and access management processes in line with evolving SAP capabilities, the SAP security technology roadmap, and business requirements.

    What you will bring:
To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, hands-on experience, and strong interpersonal skills. Your proactive and detail-oriented approach, combined with strong stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills, will help you thrive in a complex global enterprise environment. It is an advantage if you can translate business and security requirements into effective designs and access models. You are confident engaging with both technical and business stakeholders and are able to balance operational support with project delivery in a structured and proactive way.

    - 10+ years of experience in SAP security and authorizations, with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
    - Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA authorizations, role design, SAP Fiori security, SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), and SAP Cloud Identity Services.
    - Strong understanding of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Fiori authorization concepts, and modern SAP access control principles.
    - Experience integrating SAP solutions with SailPoint, Azure Active Directory (AD) / Entra ID, and managing secure access across hybrid and cloud environments.
    - Solid knowledge of SAP BTP security services, access governance, control frameworks, and external audit processes supporting modern SAP platforms.
    - Experience with SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Xiting, external audit coordination, and end-to-end audit lifecycle management for access and security controls.
