Role and impact:

As Site Manager at our production site in Frederikssund, you will play a central role in ensuring that our industrial construction projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest professional standards. You will be the key driver of daily site operations and a visible leader who sets the tone for safety, structure, and collaboration on site.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Enforcing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and ensuring all permits, documentation, and certifications are in place before work begins.
• Coordinating daily site activities, resources, and responsibilities to ensure progress, quality and safety.
• Driving structured reporting on progress, deviations, and risks, and escalating issues as needed.
• Supporting construction planning and reviewing contractor schedules for alignment.
• Contribute to Construction tendering/procurement process.

Your impact will be seen in a more professional, systematic, and safe approach to site management across projects, helping to set new standards for execution and collaboration by:

• Setting the baseline for a systematic approach to site management​
• Drafting the needed standards and templates related to the field, like progress reports, inventory management etc.​
• Proactively share knowledge with co-workers in the team.

What you will bring:

To succeed in this role, you bring solid experience from site-based roles with responsibility for leading construction activities, site execution, and day-to-day operational coordination on industrial projects.

You have proven experience in engineering, construction, and installation of industrial plants, ideally within chemical, process, energy, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated environments. Your understanding of plant engineering principles and construction interfaces, including familiarity with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), will be valuable.

You possess strong communication and people management skills, with the ability to align contractors, project management, engineering, and stakeholders. Proficiency in Danish and English, solid IT skills with construction management tools (such as Dalux or similar), and experience with schedule follow-up and budget monitoring are essential. Familiarity with applicable standards and regulations for safety, lifting, and quality is required, and certification as an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator (AMK P/B) or equivalent is preferred.
