    Senior HSE Advisor

    Role and impact
    As Senior HSE Advisor at our new Herning site, you will play a key role in supporting all health and safety issues on site in Topsoe's continued effort to create a good and safe working environment.

    You will:

    • Operational HSE support: Work closely with shopfloor operators to resolve practical HSE issues and promote a strong safety culture.
    • Risk and incident management: Conduct and document risk assessments, implement control measures, and investigate and follow up on incidents.
    • HSE systems and compliance: Develop HSE programs and procedures, ensure contractor and supplier compliance, and maintain high standards for HSE and regulatory compliance.
    • Performance and continuous improvement: Monitor HSE KPIs and prepare the plant for certification in accordance with ISO 45001.


    What you will bring
    We’re on the hunt for a Senior HSE Advisor who will help us setting high standards for how we work with health, safety and environment. You have a scientific background such as a BSc or MSc in chemistry/biology disciplines, and you have some years of experience within HSE in, ideally in industries such as Chemicals, Energy, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or similar. Your strong understanding of HSE standards, regulations, and best practices makes you comfortable navigating complex production environments.

    You care about building a workplace where people trust and respect each other, and your safety mindset shows in your practical solutions. You are great at getting your message across in a multicultural setting, making sure everyone understands the importance of working safely.

    You are skilled in developing health and safety procedures and processes and experienced in conducting incident investigations. You are adept at overseeing contractors and suppliers to ensure a safe working environment. We value experience from Seveso-regulated sites and other high-risk environments, combined with a chemical understanding or relevant technical knowledge.

    Your new team
    You will join a small, local team of three dedicated professionals, working closely together to map and implement all HSE activities at the newly established Herning plant. The newness of the factory offers you a unique opportunity to shape the execution of HSE work and have a significant impact on both the role and the workplace.
