    QC Engineer

    Location Herning, Denmark
    Job Category Production
    Deadline February 12, 2026

    Role and impact
As a Quality Control Engineer for our Quality Control laboratory at Topsoe's Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cell (SOEC) factory in Herning, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining high standards for our QC operations. You will be responsible for the installation and implementation of QC procedures, including method validation according to the Measurement System Analysis (MSA) standard. Your tasks will include generating essential documentation, setting and maintaining workflow standards, and ensuring compliance with established procedures.

You will also support routine analyses when needed and act as a coordinator, interfacing with the production, technical, Quality Assurance (QA), and Research and Development (R&D) departments. In the short term, your focus will be on preparing the factory with the necessary Quality Control tests to ensure a successful start-up. Your working hours are 37 hours per week, which can be planned flexibly between 7 am and 5 pm in coordination with relevant partners. As production hours expand, there may be periods where evening support is required, making proximity to our Herning factory an advantage.

    What you´ll bring
You are motivated by the opportunity to be part of an exciting journey, helping to launch a new factory. You thrive in implementation phases with many unknowns and are passionate about establishing structure and order. Independence, the ability to work under pressure, and quick decision-making are among your strengths. You are an effective communicator who keeps colleagues informed and value thoroughness, patience, and a willingness to take on routine tasks.

It is an advantage if you bring experience in the following areas: prioritizing safety and quality (Zero Harm Culture), working with measuring instruments, maintaining and validating laboratory equipment, sampling and quality control, following instructions and documenting processes, Lean and 5S methodologies, SAP Quality Management (SAP-QM), and proficiency in MS Office. Fluency in both English and Danish is also beneficial.
