Role and impact:
As a Cost Estimator at Topsoe, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to drive the global energy transition. You will interpret complex business issues, recommend best practices, and prepare detailed cost estimates for proprietary hardware, including hardware costs, manhours, and standard mark-ups. Your work will involve creating scope of supply documents, providing Total Installed Cost (TIC) estimates for proposals and studies, and collaborating closely with commercial, research and development, and engineering teams. You will also act as a process owner for several estimation tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective. Your expertise will help benchmark and assure the quality of cost estimations, support the development of cost-effective processes, and contribute to the standardization and effective execution of Topsoe’s technology segments. You will interact with stakeholders across the organization, present findings to management, and ensure that all estimating documentation is accurate and timely.

What you will bring:
• Strong mechanical competence with experience in cost estimation, particularly in TIC estimating and proposal/studies.
• Broad understanding of all engineering disciplines and a holistic, outcome-focused mindset.
• Experience in onshore industries, renewables, or petrochemical projects, and proficiency with multiple cost estimating tools and databases.
• Proactive approach, business insight, and a customer-focused attitude, even when data is limited.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and collaboration skills, with a passion for knowledge-sharing and innovation.
• Structured, efficient, and able to maintain focus under pressure.
• Strong skills in verbal and written English.
