From 1940 to 2022, the name Haldor Topsøe was eponymous with our company, Haldor Topsøe A/S, embodying the legacy of our visionary founder. However, in the early 2020s, we embarked on an ambitious journey to take a leading role in the energy transition.
To align with this direction, it was time for a transformation - not just in strategy, but in identity. This marked the transition from Haldor Topsøe to Topsoe: a shorter, sharper name that reflects our global outlook and leadership in decarbonization and the energy transition.
The change was more than cosmetic. By removing the Danish letter "Ø" and our founder's first name, we symbolized a shift from a personal legacy to a company-focused identity - one that honors our strong heritage while embracing the future.
