    Contaminant removal

In the feed purification process step, the final removal of contaminants takes place. Any organic sulfurs are hydrogenated and later absorbed together with any hydrogen sulfide or carbonyl sulfide in the feed. Chlorine and other halogens are also absorbed and removed from the gas feed. Reliable and well-functioning feed purification is essential for ensuring optimal performance of downstream catalysts and a high on-stream factor of the entire facility.

    Catalysts for RNG feed purification

    htz-51 catalyst

    HTZ-51 catalyst

State-of-the-art zinc oxide absorbent for feedstocks with low sulfur concentrates or for operation at low temperatures.
    TK-261 catalyst

    TK-261 catalyst

TK-261 is used for hydrogenation of sulfur, chlorine and unsaturated compounds in hydrocarbon feeds ranging from natural gas to naphtha.
    HTG-10 catalyst

    HTG-10 catalyst

Ideally positioned between your hydrogenation catalyst and your zinc oxide sulfur absorbent, the HTG-10 effectively absorbs any chloride from your feedstocks.

    Applications within this area

    RNG gas conditioning

In the gas conditioning step, part of the carbon monoxide present in the process gas reacts with steam forming carbon dioxide and hydrogen while releasing heat.

    RNG methanation

In the RNG methanation process step, the final conversion of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and hydrogen into the RNG product takes place.
