    We are seeking a skilled and proactive Global Employment Relations Specialist to join our dynamic Global HR Operations team. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping our workplace culture, ensuring compliance, and leading initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and inclusivity.


    As Global Employment Relations Specialist, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and managers across Topsoe. Your expertise will guide complex employment and labor law matters, while supporting initiatives that enhance employee engagement and promote an inclusive workplace. 


    To succeed in this role, you’ll need to combine a hands-on, operational approach with strategic collaboration across stakeholders and business units. You’ll collaborate closely with managers, colleagues, and HR teams to deliver world-class HR support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

     

    • Driving Employee Engagement Initiatives: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
    • Coordinating DE&I Strategies: Design and execute initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace, track progress, and deliver measurable improvements in DE&I goals.
    • Providing Employment- and Labor Law Advice: Advise managers and HR Business Partners in Denmark and abroad, in collaboration with external advisors when needed, on employment- and labor law matters, including collective agreements and Topsoe policies.
    • Ensuring GDPR Compliance: Oversee GDPR compliance in collaboration with our GDPR experts. 
    • Creating HR Communication Content: Create clear and impactful HR communication content, including update and maintenance of templates and policies regarding global employment relations.
    • Managing HR Projects: Lead and participate in HR projects to support our digitalization journey.

     

    What you’ll bring
    We’re looking for someone with:

     

    • Experience: Solid HR experience and a relevant master’s degree e.g., in human resources, business administration, law, or a related field.
    • A Global Mindset: A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
    • Independence and Accountability: A proven ability to work independently while delivering high-quality results.
    • A Service-Oriented Approach: A pragmatic mindset focused on practical solutions and stakeholder satisfaction.
    • Language Skills: Fluency in Danish and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
    • HR Systems: Understanding and hands-on experience with HR systems and tools, e.g., SuccessFactors, ProMark, and SAP.

As part of our Global Employment Relations team, which is part of Global HR Operations, you’ll work alongside dedicated HR professionals to manage operational matters across the entire employee lifecycle. Global HR Operations also includes our Payroll and People Support teams, based in India and Denmark, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
