    Maximize cycle lengths

If your units process large amounts of coker naphtha containing silicon from anti-foaming agents or heavier hydrocarbon streams containing silicon from injected flow improvers, dealing effectively with silicon is probably a major challenge. When silicon contaminates your main catalyst, it accelerates deactivation and shortens your cycle lengths.

A pioneer in developing catalysts with superior silicon capacity, we can help you tailor your loading scheme to guard against silicon and maximize cycle lengths.

    Catalysts for silicon removal

    TK-49 catalyst

    TK-49 catalyst

TK-49 is a high-nickel catalyst based on an alumina carrier for use in catalyst bed grading systems, where maximum arsenic pick-up is needed.
    TK-41 catalyst

    TK-41 catalyst

TK-41 has very high affinity for arsenic trapping in VGO and gas oil services. This catalyst is also able to trap Ni/V/Si.

    Applications within this area

    Chlorine guards

Absorb any inorganic chlorine your feedstocks might contain and remove the threats to your ammonia and hydrogen plant productivity.

    Nickel and vanadium removal

Topsoe offers a very comprehensive portfolio of guard catalysts that effectively trap nickel and vanadium before they reach your high-activity main catalyst.

    Phosphorus removal

Our proven hydrodemetalization (HDM) loading schemes will protect your reactor with the industry's highest phosphorus uptake.

    Sulfur guards

Remove hydrogen sulfide and other sulfurous compounds at temperatures below 150°C (300°F) with our very high capacity sulfur guards.

    Arsenic removal

We offer a number of highly efficient arsenic-trap catalysts that catch and accumulate arsenic many times more effectively than conventional hydrotreating catalysts.
