Effectively remove polar and unsaturated compounds

Hydrofinishing is the critical last step of processing required to produce lube base stocks. The step involves hydrotreating refined and dewaxed oils to improve color, meet stability requirements, and remove all remaining sulfur, nitrogen, and oxygen.

Regardless of whether your product is a high-quality group III or a lower-grade (I–II) lube, Topsoe’s hydrofinishing catalysts effectively remove polar and unsaturated compounds to give you just the right color and stability characteristics.
