Hydrotreating | Co-processing for kerosene hydrotreating

Your business’ fast-track to Sustainable Aviation Fuels

Transitioning into the renewable era doesn’t have to require major modifications to your refinery, high costs or large amounts of time. By replacing the fossil feedstock in your existing kerosene hydrotreater with 5% renewable feedstock, you can produce  Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

How does it work?

Chosing Topsoe´s high-performance catalyst TK-930 D-wax™ for co-processing renewable feedstock in your kerosene hydrotreater will maintain highest possible biogenic carbon in the jet fuel, and enable it to meet the demanding freeze point specifications. This is possible due to the market leading isomerization selectivity of the catalyst. The renewable fraction in your product will live up to the most demanding fuel specifications on the market: Sustainable Aviation Fuel.

Benefits of choosing renewable co-processing in your kerosene hydrotreater for SAF production

•    It’s the easiest way to start producing SAF as transition can be done without major modifications to your existing refinery
•    It’s a low CAPEX solution
•    It’s fast to implement, so you can start sooner rather than later
•    It’s possible to choose your own co-processing starting point – the amount of renewable feed can be as high as 5%.
