The Product Management team, working with the development of the entire PtX product portfolio. The PtX scope includes classic process technology design, skid mounted solutions and associated service products. The process development is concentrated around an SOEC electrolyzer, but also includes integration of CO2 capture, ammonia, methanol and fuels technologies.
As Product Manager you will be overall responsible for the product. You will be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
Who we’re looking for
Topsoe is looking for 3 Product Managers for our commercial PtX organization, that will cover the areas of:
- Green Synfuels (SAF, diesel, gasoline and RNG)
- Green Chemicals and fuel substitutes (Ammonia and Methanol)
- SOEC electrolysis
As Product Manager you oversee a product throughout its lifecycle. That includes working out what customers want, helping the business to build the right product, supporting the business to sell it and supporting O&M in how to operate and maintain the product. You also provide the product vision and leadership for the many other roles involved in developing, supporting, marketing, and selling the product. This includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s strategy and goals.
Your inbound activities will be helping the business to help deliver the product, and includes:
- Product requirements
- Product design and test
- Operational readiness and trail
- Product discovery
Your outbound activities will be helping the business to sell the product, and includes:
- Product Launch
- Product promotion
- Sales support
- Sales and marketing content and needs
Your role as Product Manager also entails that you define the product direction, such as working out what the right product is for the business. This includes but is not limited to:
- Product and portfolio strategy
- Roadmaps
- Pricing
- Vision and evangelizing
You are expected to travel 20-50 days per year.
What you’ll bring
- an engineering background, preferably Energy or Chem. Eng.
- a minimum of 10 years of experience in the hard to abate sectors
- excellent communication and teamwork skills and thrive in cross-cultural contexts
- strong decision-making skills
- structured, efficient, and organized way of working
- a passion for planning, documentation, and organizational alignment
- a customer centric mindset and experience in working directly with customers
- initiative as well as technical flair
- commitment to your work, striving to make a difference and taking ownership of own tasks
- an active attempt to strengthen your own knowledge about the business
- excellent communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English
- a flexible and solution-oriented way of approaching people and tasks
