Closing the information gap in Steam Reformers
A lack of critical information can affect the operation of a chemical plant
Article Closing the information gap in Steam ReformersAn efficient and reliable conversion of the feedstock has a huge impact on the economics of the plant. Our different reforming technologies are tailor made to meet the requirements of the customer without compromising on reliability. For chemicals application, we propose the radiant wall reformer which may also include the reforming of CO2. For large size syngas units, units producing syngas for fuels, we propose the two-step reforming lay-out or the standalone ATR. These reforming technologies together with high active reforming catalysts will provide customer with proven and highest possible energy efficient solutions.

Article Closing the information gap in Steam ReformersThe low restriction on the process air obtained with the patented FreeBurn™ for secondary reformers will increase your ammonia production, if the process air capacity is a bottleneck. Alternatively, maintain the ammonia production and yield compression energy savings in your process air compressor.

SynCOR Methanol™ is a combination of Topsoe SynCOR™ synthesis gas generation, methanol synthesis and distillation technologies and catalysts.
Brochure Methanol made better - SynCOR Methanol™Safe and reliable operation of the syngas plant is key to any owner. A well-functioning steam methane reformer (SMR) can greatly impact the on-stream performance because it is one of the most complex unit operations in the plant.
White paper Novel carrier catalyzing optimal performanceFischer Tropsch derived diesel is a premium fuel that reduces vehicle emissions and engine wear substantially. When Qatar Petroleum and Sasol embarked on building the world’s first large scale Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) plant using Sasol® Low Temperature Fischer- Tropsch (LTFT™) technology aimed at diesel production, choosing an extraordinary partner was essential.

Hard-to-abate industries, characterised by their substantial carbon footprints and intricate production processes, stand as some of the trickier challenges on the road to achieving net zero emissions.
